09.00 Hrs
Hiking up Grouse Mountain (2 hours ... pfffff).
20.00 Hrs
Live concert at PNE Place of The Crash Test Dummies (coming from Winnipeg, Canada).
  • Our opinions:
  • PNE Centre was only 50% filled with people.
  • The performance of the pre-show "The ... Kings" was terrible.
  • The CTD's only performed for 1 hour and 10 minutes (much too short for CAN $ 18.50).
  • The sound was very bad. Which guy mixed this sound so awful?
  • Somebody from the band (guitar player?) played bad notes.
  • Brad Roberts (lead singer/bass player) was singing 1 tone to low sometimes.
  • We couldn't hear all instruments most of the time (keyboard)
  • The first 3 songs were terrible, Brad excused the band by saying it was because the songs were brand new (from the album 'A Worm's life', release date: 02-Oct-96) and almost un-practised.
  • CTD News:
  • Brad is short haired (he had long hair). Somebody in the audience shouted: 'What happened to your hair?'
  • We 28-Aug-1996:
